Brasserie Blanc - Hale Barns

Beginning of this week I was dining at brand new Brasserie Blanc restaurant within the newly refurbished Manchester Airport Marriott Hotel in Hale Barns.

Iconic French restaurant serves delicious home - cooked french food  with a contemporary international flavor inspired by Raymonds Blanc travels.

Cosy and modern deco mixed with the botanical details makes you feel very relaxed and homely.
The atmosphere was lovely, everyone was very friendly and we had really good night.

For the starter I ordered vegetable summer rolls - fresh veggies wrapped in rice paper roll and soy dipping sauce, chilies in sauce gives a slight kick to this starter.

For my main course I went for filet steak. Steak was cooked to perfection, I'm a bit fussy regards to how I like my steak but this one was just perfect.

Desert! I could't go home without ordering a desert!  I overheard sitting behind me couple who  compliment pistachio souffle and I had to order the same thing. I think I was in pistachio heaven ha

Book now to visit the brand new Brasserie Blanc or sign up to the newsletter  on website to receive 25% off mains.

Thank you Brasserie Blank for having me

Today's post is about our stay at Crewe Hall in Cheshire, only hour away from Manchester ,where we live.
We came a little bit to earl, I set off early because you never know how the journey with 3 and half years old could go ;)  Yes, soo we was a little bit too early to check in, ended up having a glass of orange juice and lovely gentlemen brought Lewis board games and coloring books to play with, how nice was that?!?! Lewis is very active kid and having all the games and coloring books kept him occupied until we got our room ready.

Someone was one happy boy, he jump on the bed straight away and play with made of a hand -towel teddy :)

Then we went out for a little wonder around the mansion and garden.

Then we was off for our dinner. As all parents could relate to this, going out with little ones for something to eat could be tricky... most of the times kids are fussy and don't want to eat wheat ever they (parents ;) ) ordered.
Crewe Hall offer menu for little ones, this was very handy for me because Lewis had pizza on his mind all day....just see the picture below...haha

To top the day we come back to our hotel room to a glass of milk and cookie :)
What else little ones could ask for before their bedtime?!?!?!

Breakfast time, we left it until late,.....well we didn't want to get up early because our beds was very comfortable.
I let Lewis choose his breakfast, wanted him to feel like this trip is all about him. Of course he went for cereal with chocolate chips flakes and freshly squeezed orange juice.

Obviously we took some mummy and son silly pictures too  ;)

Lets just take a stunning is this 16th century mansion?!?!

Soo that's all for now and BIG THANK YOU CREWE HALL for having us, we had amazing time and we defiantly going to come back shortly.
