MANCHESTER FASHION WEEK HAS THEIR SPONSORS ALL WRAPPED UP
Leading polythene packaging manufacturer Duo Plastics UK has come on board as one of the main sponsors for Manchester Fashion Week 2013. The Manchester-based company, which works with leading retailers including ASOS, Boohoo.com and JD Williams, follows professional hair salon brand REDKEN and cosmetics giant Lancome in their desire to support the northern fashion event.
Duo’s Commercial Director, Anthony Brimelow, commented:
“Manchester Fashion Week is a fantastic initiative and we are delighted to lend our support. Retail is a key market for us and as MFW is very much about the fashion business as a whole, this is an excellent fit for us.
Increasingly we’re finding clothing manufacturers and retailers are choosing UK –based suppliers as the business benefits, such as shorter lead times, simpler supply chains and superior quality, become more widely recognised. We encourage our clients to see postal packaging as a vital extension of their customers’ experience and as such we work closely with our clients to ensure that their customers are delighted from the moment their package arrives in the post.”
Duo will be supplying all the packaging required during the seven day event including gift bags with any purchases and VIP goody bags.
2013 marks the second year of Manchester Fashion Week and sees an increase in catwalk shows and exhibition space. 20% of the 30 catwalks will be donated to independent British Fashion designers creating a fantastic opportunity to showcase their work and champion the new fashionistas of the future.
Founder of Manchester Fashion Week, Jonathan Sassen is excited about what lies ahead:
“Both the sponsors and myself are keen to create a fashion legacy that lives beyond our week long event. This year we will encapsulate the true vibrancy of Manchester and Duo, Redken and Lancome are key to making this happen.”
Manchester Fashion Week 2013 will take place between 22nd - 26th April
